A new home for healthy living.

SweatIT Training Club – Crowborough

How do you build a brand for an ambitious gym operator that needs to convey a serious approach to health and fitness, resonating with an established gym community while appealing to those at the start of their fitness journey?

We were commissioned by the team at Crowborough-based SweatIT training to update their visual identity heralding the move to a new and exciting space. The branding needed to reflect the urban feel of the new stripped back facility: conveying a commitment to ambitious fitness programming, while welcoming apprehensive newcomers.

The sophisticated brand icon created, fuses the bold ‘S’ and lowercase ‘i’ of the company name to create a strong, subliminal graphic avoiding the obvious symbols associated with gym equipment. There were a number of areas of the business that needed their own sub-logo, so a colour palette was created to represent each one, using the SweatIT icon and text lockup.

The identity has been created for use across all media and has been printed on t-shirts, signage and used digitally. Tom and the team at SweatIT use the brand consistently across all social media platforms to promote offers, benefits, and events for the business.

“We needed to future-proof our brand and bcd provided us with a distinct and consistent solution, which drives an ambitious expansion across all strands of the business.”
